The Ring Nebula (M57)

The Ring Nebula (M57)

I've decided I have a love-hate relationship with the Ring. Love in that I keep coming back to it, but hate in that I never really like the results. The Ring is a planetary nebula about 2000 light years away. It can be a bit of a pain to work with, as preserving details in the nebula while pulling out any background galaxies or other goodies that might be in the image are two very different tasks.
This is one hour and thirty-five minutes of five minute exposures on the Ring Nebula captured with a QSI583c@-10*C through a Meade 14" at f10.
