I was looking for something I have not seen imaged very often, and after exploring Stellarium, I found NGC 6914 and thought the combination of dark nebula and reflection nebula potentially had great texture. I finished collecting data at the Island Star Party at Bright Angel Park, in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on southern Vancouver Island. I used a Celestron Edge HD 925 with a 0.7 reducer, an ASI 2600MC Pro. I managed to get 12 hrs 20 minutes total exposure time, with 148 x 300s subs. I processed it in SiriL, Starnet, GIMP & G'MIC.
