Rosette Nebula
This is 3h 10m of ten minute exposures of data collected by Matt Watson on the Rosette Nebula (NGC 2239) at some point last year that I found on my hard drive. He gave me the go ahead so this is my first processing attempt on it, and while it is a bit on the pink side it is still a fairly interesting image. This photo was captured with a QSI 583c at -20*c at prime focus through a Televue 127is guided on a Paramount ME. It is an emission nebula, and if I remember right that is a star cluster that formed from the cloud at the centre, but don't quote me on that. Cheers.
