There are multiple solar flares in this photo showing a variety of shapes. Note the two clouds floating above the Sun's surface on the right side. This photo is processed in a more traditional manner than the previous two.

Equipment: Canon 50D dSLR a-focal through a 2.5x Powermate & Lunt LS60THa + LS50FHa solar telescope mounted on an HEQ5 tracking mount.
Processing: ACDSee Pro 2.5 - aggressive contrast stretch, crop.
