The Lagoon star cluster and nebula form a spectacular and very active star-forming area in Sagittarius. In this image, I also tried to bring out the background, showing that the Lagoon is in the midst of a very large gassy cloud. The data was very good, providing lots of detail in the centre of the nebula.
