NGC 4151 "The Eye of Sauron"

NGC 4151 "The Eye of Sauron"

NGC 4151 "The Eye of Sauron" has some very large faint spiral features that I was hoping to be able to see. This might have been easier if the mood had not been almost full. This is an interesting region with many visible galaxies. I noticed the edge of something in the upper left corner. It turns out it was NGC 4145, which better planning would have allowed me to include in the frame. I will need to do another session on this area with better framing.
I used a Celestron Edge HD 925 with a 0.7 reducer, an ASI 2600MC Pro. I managed to get 15 hrs 25 minutes total exposure time, with 185 x 300s subs. I processed it in SiriL, Starnet, GIMP & G'MIC.
