IC 63, the Ghost of Cassiopeia
In late October on the wet coast, a week of clear skies is a gift, even if it's during a full-moon. I aimed my big scope to Cassiopeia and IC 63, the Ghost of Cassiopeia. This seems to be both a hydrogen emission plus some dust reflection. It's also a seasonal choice for Halloween.
I used a Celestron Edge HD 925 with a 0.7 reducer, an ASI 2600MC Pro, and NBZ filter. I managed to get 36 hrs 40 minutes total exposure time, with 220 x 600s subs. I processed it in SiriL, Starnet, GIMP & G'MIC.
