SH 2-274 - Medusa Nebula
This very dim planetary nebula was only discovered in 1955. In Gemini, it's about 1,500 ly distant. With a diameter of about 4 ly, it is likely very old; Sharpless originally categorized it as a super nova remnant. This is a narrowband SHO pallette, with 5.5 hours exposure with a 5" apo refractor Feb. 19-20, 2020.
