The Moon and Mars

The Moon and Mars

As I was driving to my early morning destination I noticed the streets were mostly empty. Sensible people were likely still warm in their beds. Arriving at King George Terrace Lookout the Moon had yet to emerge. Randy arrived and Alex shortly afterwards. The orangey glow of the Moon rose above the horizon line only to merge with some dense clouds. We were likely to miss the re-emergence of Mars from the dark limb of the Moon. Eventually the Moon emerged along with the bright planet Mars along side it.
