M63, The Sunflower Galaxy
In the evening of the first really warm and sunny day of 2012 in Victoria I wanted to capture the Sunflower Galaxy, M63. I have imaged it before but this is my best effort so far.

2012-05-12 at the Victoria Centre Observatory
Conditions - clear calm and warm (10 deg C).
C14 SCT with Canon T3i at prime focus. Focal length =3550mm and f/10 on ME mount.
Exposure - 8 x 240s at ISO 3200 with equal number of darks for calibration.
Processing in Images Plus and Photoshop.
