Processing: Light frames calibrated with dark frames in ImagesPlus. Light frames combined using MinMax Excluded. Color balanced, and cropped using Photoshop.

The Jewel Box also known as NGC 4755, the Kappa Crucis Cluster is an open cluster.

The Coalsack Dark Nebula is the most prominent dark nebula in the skies and easily visible on the left side of this image.

There is also a second open cluster, NGC 4852 in the upper right.
