Cassiopeia's Ghost SH2-185
Cassiopeia's Ghost the very dim nebula near the very bright star Gamma Cas (the middle star in the "W" in the constellation Cassiopeia). An early Halloween arrival. If you look closely it almost seems that more ghosts are circling the bright star. This is a composite of 12.25 hours of 900 second subs using an NBZ narrowband filter to capture the red glow of the Hydrogen Alpha gas in the nebula .
