Orion in Hydrogen Alpha
This is an hour and twenty minutes of 20 minute exposures at negative 15 degrees Celsius (4 total) taken with the Televue 127is guided on the Paramount ME at the RASC VCO. I used a 3nm wide hydrogen alpha filter during the caputre. The image was shot under the full moon, with about a 30 degree separation between the moon and Orion. Given this, the result is quite amazing. All processing and stacking was done in Pixinsight, calibrated with flats, bias and dark frames.
