This is the spectrum of the giant red star Chi Cygnus. The spectrum shows several absorption lines of titanium oxide (TiO), a single sodium D-line (Na I) and a small absorption line of zirconium dioxide (ZrO). The Hydrogen Balmer series is absent or very weak in this type of star.
