Saturday Aug 11 was a fine night at the Sask Summer Star Party– dark clear air although the air was cool (2.5 deg C) and a bit windy I set up the 30D camera on a tripod and aimed at the southern milky way as the sky darkened.Details Date and Location – 2007-08-11; Cypress Hills at the Saskatchewan Summer Star Party.Equipment – Canon 30D camera with 17-50 mm lens on tripod.Exposure – 30 sec at f 2.8 and ISO 800 with 17 mm focal length.
