Saturn from my backyard April 3, 2008. The rings are still open enough for a good view but will be closing later this year.Details:- Date and Location:- 2008-05-03, backyard in Victoria, BC.Equipment:- 8" Skywatcher Newtonian, Nikon Coolpix camera at maximum zoom coupled afocally to 6.4mm eyepiece for an effective focal length of 6m, HEQ5 mount.Exposure:- Used 114 of 217 frames, each 0.5s at f/5.1 and ISO 200.Processing in Images Plus and Photoshop.
