Centaurus A (also known as NGC 5128) is a prominent galaxy in the constellation of Centaurus only visible from low northern latitudes and the southern hemisphere. Note the bright central bulge and dark dust lane.

Evening of 2011-04-01 at the Painted Pony resort, Rodeo NM during a star party sponsored by All-Star Telescope.
Astrotrack mounted Orion 80mm APO with 0.8x reducer/flattener to give f/4.8 and a modified Canon T1i camera.
Exposure 52-58s lights at ISO 3200 with darks to match.
Processing in Images Plus and Photoshop.
