Wide field of Messier 101 galaxy - labled

Messier 101 commonly known as the Pinwheel galaxy is a face on spiral. It has a somewhat low surface brightness and as a result is not the easiest target. Two fainter galaxies can also be seen nearby, NGC 5474 and 5477. North is to the lower left.
