While setting up for a video session of Mercury I captured this set of images of the sun setting over the Sooke Hills.

Edge 8" scope on AVX mount with Canon 6D (modified).
Exposure ranged from 1/320 to 1/1250 at ISO 5000.
Processed in ACR and Photoshop.
