Another view of Mars from my backyard showing a side with quite a lot of visible geological structures. This image was taken 24 days after opposition and 16 days after the closest approach to earth. the planet is noticeably smaller than it was for my June 3 image.

ZWO ASI120S Monochrome camera on WO 105mm refractor with 2.5x powermate on Celestron Advanced VX mount.
