The Moon and Mars Rising

The Moon and Mars Rising

I arrived just before midnight at Rithet's Bog a perfect view over trees facing east. I saw Mars first through my 6 degree view binoculars and it was a beautiful salmon colour accentuated by the low horizon view. The Moon was warm and richly coloured. At this point Mars would be 1.66 degrees apart from the Moon. The next image is about 20 minutes apart.
