Comet C/2020 F3 Over Victoria July 22 2020
The continuing saga of Comet Neowise took me to Mt. Tolmie again. I had forgotten about the winds, just enough to be detail robbing at longer focal lengths. The other thing I have noticed is the lower position of the comet towards the end of the evening. Not really lower than we had become accustomed to but we have just been spoiled with higher altitude views lately. Here it is near 12:30am hovering over Victoria at 10 degrees altitude. You can see the Big Dipper high in the sky, an easy way to find the comet at this time.
