Summer Triangle and the Milky Way
Another balmy summer night and clear skies. Not the usual fair for Victoria of late, not that I'm complaining. It was a full house tonight at the VCO with lots of astronomy going on. Planets, the Milky Way, so many things to observe and document. Given that it's summer a portrait of the Summer Triangle is in order. Just above the trees near the VCO Cygnus the Swan was flying overhead. If you zoom in and look in the appropriate spot you'll see the Coat Hanger cluster.
