The Iris Nebula NGC 7023
Imaged the night of September 11/12, 2007 at Pearson College of the Pacific. It was imaged using an Orion 100ED refractor telescope on a SkyWatcher HEQ5 mount with a modified Nikon D50 camera. This is a combination of 119, one minute exposures calibrated with 20 dark frames and 20 flat frames at ISO800. ImagesPlus, Photoshop CS3 and NoiseNinja were used to process the image.
