This image was taken on September 13/14, 2007 at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory in Victoria, BC. I used my Orion 100ED refractor on a SkyWatcher HEQ5 mount with a modified Nikon D50 camera. This image is a compilation of 86, one minute exposures that were calibrated with 20 dark frames and 20 flat frames and stacked in ImagesPlus and with the contrast and brightness adjusted in Photoshop CS3.
