Comet 168P-Hergenrother

Comet 168P-Hergenrother gliding through Pegasus. The comet image was taken at the Victoria Centre Observatory, Victoria BC with a QSI 540C camera and C14 SCT telescope on a Paramount ME mount. It was the first of a sequence that started at 9:41 PM and ended at 11:04 PM PDT (GMT -7), Oct 8, 2012. A video of the sequence is on line at https://vimeo.com/51110478
At the same time a wide field image of the region was taken with a Canon T3i camera and 15mm f/2.8 lens on an Astrotrac mount.
