Picture of Tycho Crater
This picture was taken on Sept 30, 2001 using my 8" F9.75 home built telescope which was unguided. The image was projected through a 25 mm eyepiece to the camera which is a Yashica FX-D Quartz. The film used was ISO 400 colour print film from Photoworks which was processed by them and low resolution scanned. It was then contrast-enhanced on Photoshop. The picture was taken from Victoria in the backyard of my house. The camera's 10-second delay function was used to try to reduce vibration.
