M82 imaged in color with a DSLR and in Ha With a monochrome CCD. The Ha exposures bring out the intense red tendrils coming from the very active core.

2014-02-27 and 2016-02-09 and 13 at the SDG Observatory of Garry Sedun in Arizona.
Color
Modified Canon 6D camera on 20" f/4 Newtonian with a TV Paracorr coma corrector and a Paramount ME mount.
Exposures - 2x4min at 800 iso plus 4 min each at 400 and 1600 iso to capture the brightest and dimmest parts of the galaxy. 10 flats and 4 similarly exposed darks.
Ha
SBig ccd monochrome camera with with paracorr and H-alpha filter.
12 x 10m plus 40 x240m exposures with darks, flats and bias to match.
Processing in Images Plus, ACR and Photoshop.
