NGC4565 and 4562 - Cropped
NGC 4565 is a striking edge on galaxy in Coma Bernices. It is reasonably bright at magnitude 10.3. The nearby galaxy NGC 4562 is much dimmer at magnitude 14.8 but still shows up in this image from my backyard despite the nearly full moon rising during the exposure.

Conditions:- Clear with bright moon rising and 7deg and light wind.
Equipment - 105mm refractor with modified Canon 350D on HEQ5 mount.
Exposure - 66 light, 20 dark and 20 flat frames. Total light exposue time 1 hour, 6 minutes at ISO 800.
