M57, the Ring Nebula is a colorful bubble of glowing material ejected from a dying star. The remaining star core is seen in the center of the bubble. This image is my best image to date of this beautiful planetary nebula.

Date and location - 2009-07-22 at the VCO, Victoria BC.
Equipment - Meade 14" and modified Canon T1i camera on Paramount ME mount.
Exposures -58 min total at ISO 1600
