NGC 6939 is a rich star cluster and 6946 a spiral galaxy. I like the paring of these two objects. This image is a combination of results from two sessions
Details-
Dates and locations- 2007-07-25 at the DAO near Victoria and 2008-08-29 at the SSSP in Cypress Hills.
Equipment- Williams 105 mm with modified Canon 350D and unmodified 30D cameras on HEQ5 mount.
Exposures- 40 lights and 24 darks at ISO 1600 and 118 sec each plus 25 flats with 350D and 54 of 65 light frames, 37 darks all at 120 sec and ISO 3200 plus 21 flats with the 30D.
