A Parade of Planets from Cattle Point - Jan 17 2025

Four bright planets are currently all visible above the horizon a few hours after sunset.

Neptune, just barely visible with this longer exposure, is also just above Saturn and Venus, but is so dim it is not visible with the naked eye. Uranus is not visible in this image, just a bit to the upper right of Jupiter, but is also not visible to the naked eye. Mercury set before the Sun.

This really my first true attempt at a panorama, stitching together twenty 15 second exposures with my DSLR.
