Comet Panstarrs (c2011 14) and the New Moon were very close on the evening of March 12. I captured this image just as the bright lower limb of the moon disappeared causing the sky to darken and the comet to shine.

Orion 80mm refractor with Canon 6D camera and 0.8x reducer to give f/4.8.
Exposure 5 sec at ISO 400.
