This false color image was my first done at the 1.8m Plaskett telescope. It is of one of the unusual galaxies Halton Arp catalogued. The spiral object is also designated UGC1810 and the separate s shaped arm is UGC1813.

Details
Date and location - 2010-01-16 at the Domion Astrophysical Obervatory in Victoria, BC.
Conditions - 4.8 deg C with light wind and clear. Seeing fair.
Equipment - 1.8m Plaskett telescope.
Exposure - 3x60s witheach of r, g and LPS filters.

Sensor: E2V operating at -110°C with a 2x2 bin yielding 2302x1009 pixels
Processing - Flats applied at Plaskett. Final processing with Images Plus and photoshop. Colors is false - used red for r, blue for LPS and green for g filters.
