Centaurus A (also known as NGC 5128) is a prominent galaxy in the constellation of Centaurus only visible from low northern latitudes and the southern hemisphere. Note the bright central bulge and dark dust lane.

Very clear night with excellent seeing, 25 deg C, no wind.
Astrotrac mounted 80mm Orion refractor operating at f/4.8 with modified Canon T1i camera.
Exposure - 30 light and 63 dark frames at ISO 800 for 120s each.
