M63 - Sunflower galaxy
Only about 1.5 hours integration, just enough to catch the core of this lovely SAbc galaxy in Canes Venatici, at about 29M ly. This is pure RGB; I tossed the luminance as it was extremely noisy (light pollution!) There are some lovely delicate star clouds extending out from the arms; maybe I'll catch them next year! Shot May 29, 2019 with a 5" apo refractor from suburban Victoria.
