Seagull Nebula - IC2177
Deep space photographer's dilemna: clear skies but bright moon! Good time to shoot narrow-band. In this case, about 1 hour of Ha exposure, with an ES127ED apo at f/5.5. Processed in Pixinsight. This is only part of a larger area of nebulosity that lies on the border between the constellations Monoceros and Canis Major, about 3 light years away.
