Mars and the Moon Rising
Back at Rithet's Bog to watch the almost 1 degree conjunction of Mars and the Moon. I arrived a bit early but it took a little longer for the pair to emerge from the treeline. I could see the easterly direction get brighter almost like a halo with Mars emerging first as a bright salmon coloured point. The Moon was next, dancing through the silhouette of the trees.
