Lunar Eclipse March 13-14 2025

Lunar Eclipse March 13-14 2025

It was a busy event on the Hill, the crowds were milling about anticipating the Moon’s interplay with the Earth’s shadow.

It rose through the trees making its way to a position to the left of the Plaskett dome. The eclipse made appearances during the partial phase but was always being obscured by clouds.

As maximum eclipse approached the Moon disappeared behind clouds, the crowds on the deck booed. There were enough clear moments though to capture a number of frames of the amazing red moon.
