November 24 2019 - I setup early for this event and the weather was not promising but I waited in the cold wind by Dallas Road for a break in the clouds. As the sun was setting the area of interest was clearing and a few test frames revealed Venus busting through the cloud. It was difficult for me to make this out visually. Eventually both planets Venus and Jupiter were visible seperated by 1.5 degrees.
