The weather was as variable as it always is on the west coast this time of year. With almost no hope of seeing the eclipse the sky offered glimpses through the evening. Being lazy and tired my imaging setup was not elaborate. If fact it was a handheld shot with a moderate telephoto lens. The characteristic red glow was left for visual observation as it never got that clear for my fast exposures.
