M33 - Triangulum (Spiral) Galaxy, Dec 2020
Televue 127is/ASI6200MM/LHaRGB
This galaxy is the 3rd biggest in our "local group" of galaxies, and barely visible by the naked eye in very dark skies. It is 3 million light-years away. The spiral shape created by stars and star clusters (blue/white) and dust lanes (dark). Hydrogen alpha exposures (red) were added to highlight the hydrogen rich area where new stars are currently (3 million years ago) being created. Actual stars seen in the image are actually in front of the galaxy, and are part of the Milky Way.
