I wanted to image this emission nebula for some time but was having trouble locating and framing it. The fact that a similar nebula is close by doesn’t help. In a 2” LCD screen everything looks the same.

Constellation: Cassiopeia
Location: DAO, old 16” site.
Optics: Borg 77EDII at f/4.3
Camera: Canon 20Da on Kenko SkyMemo.
Exposures: 169 light frames of 60 sec, ISO 800. 2 hr 49 min.
Process: Calibrated with 30 dark frames and 25 flat frames in ImagesPlus. Combined using MinMax Excluded. Colour balance in Photoshop.
