The ISS – A Close-up
Taking this image of the ISS was quite challenging. I used the VCO’s 14-inch telescope which I manually guided. Of the 200 or so shots taken during this flyby only five contained an image of the ISS. The solar panels of the Station are clearly visible in this image. The background picture represent the the full frame image. The height of the ISS during this orbit was approximately 350 km above the Earth.
