B142 and B143
My latest image in a series of E. E. Barnard's dark nebulae. With an opacity of 6 (darkest), the U-shaped B 143, and B 142 stand out. The smaller B 335 (centre right) takes the shape of little dot while B 340, with an opacity of 5, is more of a challenge to locate. The pale orange star is g Aquilae, or Tarazed. North is to the left.
