Supernova 2020jfo in Messier 61

Supernova 2020jfo in Messier 61

SN 2020jfo in Messier 61
This bright and showy galaxy in Virgo is well know it’s production of supernova. On May 6, 2020 another one was discovered. Finally just after midnight on May 23rd conditions were finally right for me to be able to observe it. This is how I saw it through my f/3.3 508mm dobsonian reflector at 320X magnification. I’d estimate the SN brightness to be approximately 14.5 magnitude.
