NGC 7331 - Deerlick Group
Although 40 million ly distant, NGC 7331 in Pegasus is a similar galaxy to our own. The others visible in the group are not gravitationally tied, but are 10 times further distant! The curious name is believed to from an amateur astronomer, named after the site where he observed. This image is just under 3 hours of RGB integration at f/7.5 from my back yard in urban Victoria, Sept. 2 & 3, 2019, with a 5-inch apo refractor.
