The Horsehead Nebula
Success at last! I tried to image the Horsehead Nebula twice last year using my 200mm lens and was disappointed with the results. The use of better optics changed that. Also framed in this image are three IC objects: 431, 432, and 435.

Camera: Canon 20Da
Exposures: 97 RAW light frames of 60 sec, ISO 400
Process: Calibrated with 20 dark frames and 20 flat frames in ImagesPlus. Combined using MinMax Excluded. Colour balance in Photoshop.
