Totality and 50 minutes before in Corvallis Oregon

Totality and 50 minutes before in Corvallis Oregon

Leading to up to totality we could see the view of the Sun being gobbled up as the Moon aligned with the Sun. The Sunspot AR2671 is partially visible here. It was very distinct in my visual view through the Televue Pronto and a Thousand Oaks Solar filter.

The Pronto was very useful in observing the progress of the eclipse and offering views to interested eclipse viewers.
