Head of Comet Hale Bopp - 2 - Hale Bopp, spring 1997, taken with a Pentax Super Program film camera at Devon in northern Alberta. The camera and 200 mm lens was on a piggyback mount at the Devon Observatory. I must have been cold as I did not record exposure settings. The original image is an Extachrome slide which I scanned with a new Epson V500 scanner to a TIFF format. Most of the processing was done using the scanner software with some enhancement in Photoshop.
